US Immigration Case Status Online

Don't waste time waiting on the phone or in long lines at the US Immigration Office. Click here to check your case online at the USCIS website!

Many visa applicants and applicants for other immigration benefits can now check their case status on the internet.

In order to use this system, applicants must have a receipt number for a petition or application filed at a US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Service Center.

Applicants without a receipt number must call the USCIS National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283 or visit a local USCIS branch office to obtain information about their case.

How to use the Case Status online system:

• Go to: https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp
• Click on: Case Status Online
• Enter your 13-character application receipt # listed on your visa petition or application receipt. Omit any dashes in this number.
• Press "Enter".

The most recent USCIS action on your application will appear.
