A new Dallas pilot program aims to reduce the time to adjust immigrant status to 90 days.

How do I adjust status in 90 days?
This new program, called the Dallas Office Rapid Adjustment Pilot Program, lets customers use InfoPass, the USCIS' new online appointment system, to sign up for an appointment at the USCIS Dallas District Office. They can then fill out the I-130 (Petition for Alien Relative) and I-485 (Application to Register Permanent Residence) forms concurrently at the appointment. If the application forms and documents are complete, the applicant can often receive an interview on the same day. The applicant can receive a permanent resident card (green card) within 90 days.

Can The Dallas Program Save Me Money?
Applicants can save money because the process doesn't require that the applicant file for employment authorization or travel documents.

Who is Eligible to Participate in The Dallas Pilot Program?

Applicants must meet one or more of the following criteria to participate:

  • Those applicants whose immigration petition is based on a family relationship;
  • Diversity Visa Lottery winner;
  • Special Immigrant with an approved Form I-360, Petition for Amerasian, Widow(er); or
  • Special Immigrant.

How do I start?
Go to the InfoPass Web site and sign up to make an appointment at the Dallas office. Click here to learn more about the InfoPass program.
